New Single ‘Bir Kelebek Gibi - Like A Butterfly’ by Kronik Leila

 

Electronic music group Kronik Leila, formed by twin sisters Arda Tuncer and Başak Tuncer, released the second single ‘Bir Kelebek Gibi’ from their second album on 15 November 2024.

 

‘Bir Kelebek Gibi’ is a track that starts off with a combination of electronica and glitch pop genres of electronic music and announces the deconstructed club subgenre as it progresses, as in many of the band's tracks.

 

Kronik Leila, with the two singles they released before their upcoming second album, announces that this time they are thinking and writing about acceptance-letting go-transformation-freedom.

 

‘Bir Kelebek Gibi’ is inspired by the fact that the butterfly is a symbol of transformation and freedom in many philosophies.

 

Arda, one of the band members, is the lyricist, composer and producer of the song. For Arda, this song tells the story of celebrating and being grateful for the joy and enthusiasm of knowing that nothing will be the same anymore when he gets rid of his addictions and feels truly alive.
