Long nights, lonely roads, sweaty rooms, dark corners, and bathrooms hiding more than they reveal—accompanied by this journey, the Antalya-based band Köpekler, accidentally formed by Onur Köseoğlu, stretches and expands into everything that feels wrongly right and keeps the tension alive, with a Desert Rock and Psychedelic backbone centred on Alternative Rock.

Köpekler's visible story began in 2024 with the BB Films.tv special clip award they received for their live performance at the 23rd Roxy 100% Music Days finals, and immediately afterwards, the group caught the attention of Tamar Records. Behind the scenes, however, lies a group formed by songs hidden away in a bedroom for years: the streets of Antalya, the skyscrapers of Istanbul, the subways of Berlin, someone's bedroom, someone's inner world, someone's existential pain.

Shortly after the competition, Köpekler began working on turning the 13 songs that Onur Köseoğlu had unearthed from their hiding place into an album. In July 2024, they entered Ediz Hafızoğlu's Lin Records studio in Kaş, Antalya, to record the drums. The band's drummer, Alpcan Yenibakır, recorded the drums for 10 songs, while Ediz Hafızoğlu recorded the drums for 3 songs.

To preserve the spirit of the album and ensure the songs were heard in their original form, throughout 2025, dirty amps, strange microphones and hot equipment were set up in Onur Köseoğlu's bedroom in Antalya and connected to a large analogue mixer, where the process of recording guitars and vocals began. During the mixing and mastering process, Görkem Karabudak came to the band's rescue.

The 13-track album and Köpekler's first single, Sahte Geniş Delilik (Fake Wide Madness), was released on 16 January 2026 on all digital platforms under the Tamar Records label, accompanied by a music video directed by Baturhan Bilgin and produced by BB Films.tv, featuring Nil Telci, Hakan Tamar, Tamer Işıkhan and the band members.

Köpekler plans to release two more singles in the coming months before sharing their 13-track album with their first listeners.
