‘Bolo Bolo is an experimental solo project founded by Gamze Koba in Beyoğlu, Istanbul in 2022. With Cevdet Alanbay joining the project in 2023, the band started to record their first compositions, which they define their style as ‘progressive punk’.

 

The lyrics, which stand out with their protest character, were written by Gamze Koba along with the lyrics, while the compositions, live recordings of all instruments, mixing and mastering were done by Cevdet Alanbay. 

 

 

Bolo Bolo delivers a manifesto in the form of an anthem — inspired by Beyoğlu, and born from the hearts of those who still hold on to the pulse of Taksim.

 

This time, the group channels their emotions through the spirit of their birthplace.
