Dalgakıran is a group that collides with the city and itself, oscillating between fantasy and reality. They present Turkish-language rock music, rooted in the 90s, with a modern performance. Our journey with Dalgakıran stretches from mythology to the present day, from beautiful dreams to real shocks, from challenges to disappointments.
The band's first album, ‘Bu Bizim Nazik İsyanımız’ (This Is Our Gentle Rebellion), is not just words and music; it is a graffiti, a bargain, a mirror looked into on a drunken night, or a memory.
Recorded at Pür, North, and Recordium studios, the album has beeen released under the Tamar Records label. Orçun Ayata provided recording coaching support and mixing, Eren Turgut handled vocal production, and Marcin Bocinski did the mastering. The single and album cover art bears the signature of painter and illustrator Elif Deneç, who ‘lives in the same city’ as the band's music.
Dalgakıran is your new friend who will make you feel as though you've known them for ages.
