Dalgakıran - Kukla Kral

 

Having established themselves as one of the most prolific acts on the local alternative scene with tracks such as “Hesap”, “Deli Dans”, “Semt Bizim Ev Kiralık” and “Makinist”, Dalgakıran have released “Kukla Kral”, the fifth single from their second album, *Olay Ufku*, to music lovers. 
The track combines the band’s characteristic sound with a grandiose rock atmosphere.

Opening with the jarring lines “Before you lie my remains, a damp wall, an old door”, the track tells a story of existence and stubbornness through the ‘puppet king’ metaphor. Catching the listener’s attention with the lines “The puppet dies for its owner’s stubbornness”, the song both provokes thought with its poetic language—ranging from jacarandas to hearts heavy with sorrow—and captivates the listener with its high-energy rock sound.
