The band DDR (East Germany) was formed in the early 2000s. It was most active in 2009, 2010 and 2011. DDR has one album (Agitprop, 2010), singles, EPs and demo recordings.

 

Cihan Cinemre and Can Batukan have been the two constant members of the four-piece band since the first years. In their last years, after Bora Şimşek settled in Brazil, they continued as 3 members with Deniz Yoldüz. Today, they continue to record new songs intermittently.

 

Music lovers recognise DDR from the important venues of the period such as Peyote, Doors, Karga, Arkaoda between 2008-2012. However, since the band's second album work was interrupted, they could only present Agitprop as an album to the audience until today. They hope to change this situation with Tamar Records.
