Goetia - SALIGIA

Goetia is a darkwave band shaped around themes of occultism, inner conflict and existential decay. Blending elements of darkwave, EBM and industrial music, the band creates a cold and immersive sonic landscape driven by hypnotic rhythms, analog-inspired synthesizers and minimal yet evocative structures.

Rather than following conventional narratives, Goetia focuses on expressing psychological states and symbolic concepts through sound. The band’s aesthetic draws from ritualistic elements and inner tension, aiming to create a space where emotion and abstraction intersect.

SALIGIA is a conceptual album inspired by the seven deadly sins. The album’s title derives from the Latin acronym formed by the initials of these sins, establishing the thematic backbone of the record.

Musically, the album moves through darkwave, EBM, and industrial textures, combining pulsating rhythms with dark and immersive atmospheres. Each track represents a different state of human nature — ranging from pride and greed to wrath and sloth — and these states are explored not as moral judgments, but as internal forces that shape identity and behavior.

In this context, SALIGIA presents a cohesive narrative from Goetia as a band, inviting the listener into a structured and immersive journey through these seven states.
