Hailing from Bursa, KARAKOMA is an alternative music band that has been making music since 2014 and was previously known as Karaneme. With the release of their debut album, the band decided to undergo a transformation in both their musical approach and identity, choosing to continue under the name KARAKOMA.

Blending a dark, gritty and raw sound with psychedelic elements, the band’s debut album “Kirli” is released via Tamar Records. One of the album’s lead tracks, “Bir Deli Kukla”, tells the metaphor of a puppet driven to madness because the strings are in someone else’s hands; whilst the third track, “Şenlik”, showcases the band’s more energetic, exuberant and chaotic side.

The recording, mixing and mastering processes were completed at Studio No 55 under the guidance of Fuat Güney. Having undergone a recording process spanning approximately a year, the band presents “Kirli” to its audience, carrying the name both in its sound and throughout the entire album.
