straygaze was founded in 2019 by Aylin Torunlar and İlknur Saduç with their unique style and works in the genres of shoegaze, indie rock and alternative rock. The current lineup consists of İlknur Saduç on vocals and rhythm guitar, Arda Gören on lead guitar, Yasin Güder on bass guitar and Berkan Çalışkan on drums.

"Sometimes, no matter how much we want to escape, we belong to this world no matter what. We like to blend all our emotions with metaphors and convey them through music, "buruk çilek" is such a song. 
"İlknur Saduç used this song in her graduation project animation, we plan to share the animation after we make the final touches. Arda Gören wrote the guitar solo, Aylin Torunlar wrote the bass guitar and Berkan Çalışkan wrote the drum parts. Berkan Caliskan is mixing and mastering the whole album and İlknur Saduç is on the art side. We recorded the whole album on the terrace of our school with our laptop, sound card and our own instruments. We are all very connected to each other and we care about each other a lot, this is one of the most important things for us and this is reflected in our songs."
