straygaze was founded in 2019 by Aylin Torunlar and İlknur Saduç with their unique style and works in shoegaze and alt-rock genres. The current line-up consists of İlknur Saduç on vocals and rhythm guitar, Berkan Çalışkan on drums, Arda Gören on lead guitar and Elif Şeker on bass guitar. Their 8-song concept album "büyülü orman- haunted forest", released on 9 August 2024, has a gothic theme and melancholic atmosphere in general.

"büyülü orman" is an important step in straygaze's musical journey. The album resonates with the mysterious and dark aspects of the listeners, while also reflecting the inner experiences of the band members. The songs on the album create a dim and restless atmosphere with the layered guitars of shoegaze. Especially tracks like "yetişebilir miyim sana - can I catch up with you" and "yanında - beside you" strongly emphasise the conceptual themes.
