Istanbul-based independent artist Can Demirok celebrates his love for certain scenes that are at risk of being lost in the stream of history by making them no longer exclusive to their most dedicated followers. TMLSK shapes its sound by drawing inspiration from familiar names like My Bloody Valentine, Interpol, Jesus and Mary Chain and classic rock bands like The Kinks and The Rolling Stones. By adapting these influences to the present day, he hopes to share his love for not only the big names, but also the bands that are an important part of underground music culture.
